A COMMUNITY OLYMPIC EVENT AT SUNSET, KITSILANO AND KILARNEY COMMUNITY CENTRES.
A flash mob is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual action for a brief time, and then quickly disperse. Artist: Julie Lebel is seeking a group of committed people to create a FLASH MOB to be performed at Sunset Community Centre on Saturday, Feb. 6 during a Community Olympic Event called Host a City Happening.
Time commitment:
Sunday, Jan 31 1:30-4:45 PM workshop
Saturday, Feb. 6 warm up 10:00-12:00PM
Performance 2:00-6:00 PM (two times) 8 minutes (max) in length

Participants are encouraged to continue being part of the Flash Mob performed on the additional dates below. More information on this will be given at the workshop on January 31. Bring a water bottle, comfortable clothing and shoes. Please forward to your contacts!
